Hindu Mandir is a Non - Profit Religious Organization in the State of Connecticut, USA, registered on May 15 1996.

Main purpose of forming this organization is to build a Mandir, a place of worship, where all members of the community can pray and perform puja for their respective chosen deities. (Ishta Devata). The idea that every deity whom men worship is the embodiment of a limited ideal, and that the deity is a symbol of some aspects of the Absolute is one of the most fundamental characteristics of Hinduism.  Mandir is a place of worship, where we can teach and pass along our Culture, Spiritual and Intellectual values to our children, being a minority in a vast country. The presence of such a platform surrounded by the statues of chosen deities provides a sense of security.
